Message as long as it is completely drained of all fluids and is clean. When the EPA inspectors come, prior to your pack-out, they will look it over and give you the yes or no...only due to cleanliness. As long as you don't exceed your max allowable weight for your house hold goods, you can ship the engine. Same way that you can ship a motorcycle as house hold goods. contact your housing office for a motorcycle shipping tip sheet to get pointers and stop by the EPA office as well. They will tell you what they are going to be looking for. Mostly vegetation is the concern coming back to the states. Email me if you have any other questions. I would however separate the tranny and engine. Goverment crates aren't that large...however, most moving companies will build crates fro special things. They built one for me to ship my plasma back.
